Next Cubes

The next "nest" of cubes was created from a piece of Prunus. The centre removed from the first cube was cut into at an angle perpendicular to the last series of cuts, until a cube only a couple of inches square was cut. The centres were again burnt out, along with the central cube being scortched - the fire that burns within.

Sanded and sealed, the nest of cubes does perform on the fundamental level as well as any.
